I had my vacant home staged by a less expensive company, and I say less expensive but that does not mean inexpensive. Man, what a big mistake. My staged home was flat, unimpressive and the furniture and pieces were too small for the space. (And the pieces supplied were not clean-yuck!) After living with this truly disappointing stage for a couple of weeks I had everything removed and hired Capital Staging.
Wow! Kim and Emil are sooooo professional, so easy to work with, they take care of everything, with care. With Kim she was staging my home to accentuate its features. She does not have a cookie cutter process at all, my home was treated as a unique staging opportunity. She talked to me about the demographic of the market my home was geared towards, (empty nesters downsizing) but also tried to speak to a younger demographic that perhaps were in a position to purchase a substantial starter home. She really chose furnishings and staged little areas that appealed to both demographics.
Capital Staging transformed my home so much that my real estate agent insisted we redo the pictures and video for the MLS listing, at his own expense. My home sold in less than 30 days after Kim and Emil staged it. I could have saved thousands of dollars if I had gone with Capital Staging first, but what I regret most is the amount of stress I could have avoided if only I had chosen Kim and Emil first. I would definitely call them Team Professional. (PS In the end my high end newly built 2 bedroom bungalow for empty nesters sold to a young couple as their starter home. I’m sure Kim’s clever staging detail helped make this happen.)
